To do this, you must first have the software to do so. Go back to the PalaceCity Gates to get mIRC, an excellent (IMO) program for it.
Second of all, you have to connect to an IRC server. and, since our channel is on DalNet, you have to connect to a DalNet server to get there. Now, don't ask me how to do it if you are using Pirch, cause I don't know. but with mIRC, you look at the toolbar, and find the button that looks like a manilla file foler with no markings. If you put your mouse over it, it should say "Setup Info". Click that button, and a box will come up with labeled tabs in it. one should say "IRC Servers". If you are under that one, good. If not, click it and fill in the boxes. Note: The "Alternate" box is for your alternate nickname.
Then you pick a DalNet server listed in the selection box, or type in your Status box "/Server <server name> and <port>" the port is optional. If you want a random server put in "irc.dal.net" as the server.
Once you are connected, choose a channel (for some, "chat room") to join by typing in "/Join <#channel>". If you are using mIRC you can put the channel name in your "Channels Folder" and join through there. (It is the button with a manilla file folder that has a # on it).
To join our channel just type in /Join #AniHentaiRPG, and you're there! Remember, RP starts at around 8pm, and Michiru or I should be there.
